Combining with the Global Land Project (GLP), this event focusing on the “Management and Development of Knowledge on Land-use, Ecosystem and their Interaction at Different Spatial Scales” shares the status of land planning in Taiwan currently promoted and planned by relevant government units and the application of relevant technologies in the industry, including the establishment of land use policies in Taiwan and the integration with climate change adaptation and application in disaster prevention of these policies. Sharing of the technology application practice of GIS firms in Taiwan to enable government units to implement spatial governance policy analysis, so as to increase the added value of GIS application in the industry to improve GIS industry development and the technology exchange of GIS application. The event was completed on September 25, 2014 at the GIS NTU Convention Center, with about 30 participants.
